THE BREAKDOWN
Got the full reigns to the backfield in 2022 and has emerged as a Heisman candidate. Statistically dominating each week, putting up epic numbers. BLAKE CORUM is short but compact enough to have power. His short frame and forward lean – mixed with quick feet combine to make a tiny hit box. Defenders have a small margin for error when tackling BLAKE CORUM. Deceptive speed makes him a big play threat.
Has added value as a pass catcher – his solid hands and quickness make him difficult to cover. But has some troubles in pass protection. Has a nose for the end zone, but wont run over defenders or push a pile.
Michigan run game seems unstoppable no matter the RB – Hassan Haskins enjoyed a dominate year in 2021 as well. Which can cause some delay on pulling the trigger too early on BLAKE CORUM despite the stats.
But iff he can show up at the combine with 4.3 speed and over 210lbs – BLAKE CORUM could propel his stock to an elite RB prospect.
