Paulson Adebo has a rare combination of length and quickness combined with a play making mentality. He has a nose for the football, always attacking the ball either in the air or on the ground. In coverage he play man or zone with equal effectiveness, he has a knack for breaking off his man and making the play if it’s even remotely close. Although, he will gamble to get the pass breakup and give up a bigger play if he is unsuccessful. Comes up in the run game like a missile, almost too fast, he doesn’t break down and lunges at air or makes the big play. Lightning quick off the edge, effective getting pressure and getting TFL’s.

I get glimpses of Jalen Ramsey when watching Paulson Adebo. They have similar size and skill sets, although Jalen has a leg up physically. That type of long and quick corner is the perfect blend for todays NFL. They can match up on anyone but super quick slot WR’s. Paulson Adebo can play man or zone, cover 3 being the most ideal but I wouldn’t limit him to a single scheme. He might give up a few plays but will make a whole lot more. At this moment, he has the production and skill set that belongs in the 1st round – with he added bonus of he has the potential to grow into a shutdown CB.
