JOEY PORTER JR.

NFL bloodlines – great length and ball skills combined with elite instincts makes for a turnover machine. But PORTER JR does have his limitations – he plays too upright in his back pedal and has difficulty changing direction. Often getting mixed around on the line of scrimmage and is slow to react. He will have issues with twitchy WR’s. 

Might have to be deployed on a match up basis against other big targets so he does not get exposed. Which limits his potential as a true shutdown CB.

He has the measurables and ball skills that are rare for NFL CB’s. Making his services in high demand – but his downfalls push PORTER JR down to the end of the first. He might be best in a cover 3 type system where he can utilize his strengths.
