ELITE – Listed as 6’1 ft – 220lbs and looks the part. Not Derrick Henry size but still elite.
GOOD – Sneaky how fast Hall is, when he decides to burst outside he can turn on the burners. Great explosion too when he puts his foot in the ground.
GOOD – Can make defenders miss in the open field or bounce it outside. Has a solid one cut, which is perfect for his size. Keeps his momentum moving forward – doesn’t have great change of direction but enough.
GOOD – His size and speed make him difficult to bring down for any DB or LB. Typically plays with good pad level and keeps his legs moving forward. Easily breaks arm tackles and good agility puts him in position to avoid big hits. Still doesn’t use his size to his full advantage to punish defenders.
OKAY – Did well in the passing game this year, mostly because of opportunity. Doesn’t have special hands or route running capabilities. Still should be effective at the next level if the opportunities are there.
BREAKDOWN
BREECE HALL is a first round talent because he is the complete package. Size, speed, agility and power – Doesn’t have a true weakness. At times he stops his feet in the back field and will have troubles getting back in gear. Overly patient can be a problem, with his size and speed – moving forward is the best option.
Has a skill set similar to Jonathon Taylor mixed with David Johnson – didn’t look flashy or too fast on film. But in real life JT can jet. If Breece runs a blazing 40 time – he should be considered a top 15 pick.
